We offer fun and exciting experiences for everyone. You will love our hands on approach to horseback and trail riding instruction and the personal attention you will receive. We limit the number of guests participating in our summer ranch program to twenty. This will assure you that you won¹t get lost in the crowd. We specialize in personalizing your ranch stay to fit you. You have special requests, just ask!! Our summer family guest ranch vacations are fun, memorable, and exciting, they are a life experience.
Our summer season runs from June 1 through September 30. Most of our guests arrive on a Sunday and depart on a Saturday, but for your flexibility we do offer shorter stays and arrive any day of the week. Keep in mind that There is only breakfast served on Saturday and Sunday is the horses day off . Our Summer stays (American Plan Package) include lodging in one of our cozy Grand Lodge rooms or Log Cabins, daily horseback rides, three Country Gourmet meals daily, evening entertainment and access to all ranch amenities.

Tentative Summer Weekly schedule at

Sunday:
3:00 pm - Check in. Guests arrive and check in to their room or cabin.
6:30 pm - Dinner. Dinner is served in the great room of the lodge. After dinner visit with other guests or just enjoy a quiet evening.

Monday:
8:30 am - Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow.
9:00 am - Breakfast
10:00 am - Meet at barn for riding orientation and instructions. A short trail ride to follow.
12:30 pm - Lunch
2:00 pm - Afternoon Ride (about two hours)
5:00 pm - Wranglers run horses back to meadow
6:30 pm Dinner
7:30 pm – Roping lessons

Tuesday:
8:30 am - Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow.
9:00 am - Breakfast
10:00 am - meet at barn for morning ride (about two hours)
12:30 pm - Lunch
2:00 pm - Afternoon Ride. A fast ride and a slow ride are offered this afternoon. Wranglers must approve those going on fast ride. Ride may be a little shorter because of dinner cruise
or:
Skeet Shooting. Skeet is a recreational and competitive activity, using shotguns, where participants attempt to shoot clay disks flung into the air at high speed.
5:00 pm - Wranglers run horses back to meadow
4:30 pm - Meet in lodge parking lot to caravan to town.
5:15 pm - Board the Shawnodese on Lake Pend Orielle for a dinner cruise.
9:00 pm - Return to ranch

Wednesday:
8:30 am - Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow.
9:00 am - Breakfast
9:30 am - Make sack lunches for ride
10:00 am - Meet at barn for all day ride. Today we ride to Grouse Creek Falls. You may want to bring a swimsuit and towel (ask for towels at the lodge) for a refreshing dip at the Falls. The trip home in wet jeans can be long.
4:30 pm - return to lodge
5:00 pm - Wranglers run horses back to meadow
6:30 pm Dutch Oven Dinner. Served outside at fire pit.
7:30 pm Music around the campfire
Thursday:
8:30 am - Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow.
9:00 am - Breakfast
10:00 am – Horseback Scavenger hunt about 2-3 hours. This is a competitive team event. Bring your game face!
12:30 pm - Lunch
2:00 pm - Afternoon Ride
5:00 pm - Wranglers run horses back to meadow
6:30 pm - Dinner
Time TBA - Evening wagon rides

Friday:
9:00 am - Breakfast
9:30 am – Non-Horse activity TBA
12:30 pm – Lunch
12:30 pm – Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow
2:00 pm – Day Ride - A shorter ride is available at request
6:00 pm – Dinner on the trail
7:30 pm – Ride back to the lodge
8:00 pm – Wranglers run horses back to meadow
Saturday:
8:30 am - Wranglers run the horses up from the meadow.
9:00 am - Breakfast
11:00 am – Check Out
No Good byes here, just until next time!
*** All rides may very. We may work with cattle, offer more fast & slow rides or by request games and lessons in the arena.
